Who am I?

Hi. My name is Adam. (Hi Adam!)

And… I like math… (That’s okay, Adam!)

Liking math doesn’t make me a bad guy, does it?

I am a math guy. But I am also a husband, father, scouter, falconer, runner, star wars geek, comic book fanatic, hiker, camper, teacher, farm boy, reader, deep-thinker, pop culture referencer, and a lot of other things.

I noticed that many of my students struggled with their attitude about math. Then I noticed that most of the whole school did. Then I noticed that many of their parents did. Then I noticed that the majority of our whole culture and society did. I realized I needed to broaden my sphere of influence if I wanted to make a difference. And I do want to make a difference.
